In the past, private investment management was available only to the largest institutions and wealthiest individuals. Through Select Advisory Services – Separately Managed Accounts (SMA), we can offer our high-net-worth clients and smaller corporate accounts these same institutional-caliber investments and advice.
SMA is distinguished by Scott & Stringfellow's highest level of manager due diligence and is characterized by a single contract between the client and Scott & Stringfellow. Investment managers must meet our stringent criteria for inclusion in this program, and are subject to an extensive and ongoing due diligence process. Regular portfolio evaluation, manager analysis and overall research serve as the foundation of all investment alternatives available in the SMA program.
A Select Advisory Services (SMA) account offers you:
- One contract
- Regular due diligence conducted on selected managers
- Experienced professional portfolio management
- Tax efficiency
- Quarterly performance report
- Flexibility to restrict specific stocks and industries from purchase
- All-inclusive fee
- 35 managers and more than 70 investment styles
- Direct security ownership
